Purchase of devices that limit the load on the musculoskeletal system and significantly reduce the risk of falling from height. The project involved improving occupational health and safety for warehouse workers and woodworkers by purchasing devices that limit the load on the musculoskeletal system and reduce the risk of falling from height. The goal was to reduce the risk associated with significant hazards – physical exertion and working at height – to a low level. Two investment projects were implemented as part of the project:
An ESA121 electric lift truck was purchased to reduce the excessive energy expenditure associated with manual handling of goods. The excessive physical strain associated with manual handling of goods was significantly reduced to a safe level.
An ELS Lift EL5.5 Junior SP mobile scissor lift work platform was purchased to replace ladders during assembly and maintenance work with a specialized scissor lift platform to ensure work stability (platform) and protection against falls from a height thanks to safety rails, which significantly reduced the risk of falls from a height.
The implementation of the task contributed to a significant improvement in the level of occupational health and safety and to reducing the risk of accidents at the workplace.
